Brenden Harden may be the newest official member of the Wasatch Tenkara Rods team, but he has been helping shape the company since nearly the beginning. From early product testing to long days at trade shows and time spent on the water, Brenden has played a major role in helping grow the WTR community and the direction of our rods.

Built Around Time on the Water

As a tenkara guide and experienced angler, Brenden understands what anglers actually need from their gear. His background in sales and guiding gives him a unique ability to connect with customers while also providing real-world feedback that directly influences rod design, balance, and fishability. Many of the details found in our rods today were refined through countless conversations, casts, and fish caught alongside Brenden.

Pushing the Limits of Tenkara

Brenden is also known for pushing tenkara farther than most anglers think possible. Holding the record for the biggest fish caught on a tenkara rod, he has helped prove just how capable modern tenkara gear can be when designed correctly. Whether he’s guiding clients, representing WTR at trade shows, or testing new rod concepts on the water, Brenden continues to help define what Wasatch Tenkara Rods stands for.
